Play Therapy / Child Counseling

What is play therapy?

Play therapy is a developmentally responsive intervention, designed to support children struggling with behavioral, emotional, and social concerns or those experiencing significant life events. Simply put, play therapy is for children what counseling is for adults.

What problems does play therapy help with?

Play therapy supports children working through emotional, behavioral, and social challenges towards increased regulation, responsibility, and self-esteem. Play therapy allows children to process experiences in their most natural form of communication, and facilitates optimal emotional development.
